Waxing Specialist
Highly Established Waxing Salon – 21 Years of Success
Melbourne CBD | Approx. 30 Hours Per Week
Pay Rate: $38-$50 per hour + super, depending on skills and experience (to be discussed at the time of the interview).

Our client is a highly respected, busy salon located in the heart of Melbourne CBD that has specialised exclusively in waxing for over 21 years. With a loyal clientele, an outstanding reputation and a supportive team environment, they are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Waxing Specialist to join their team.
This central CBD location offers easy access via public transport, with train, tram and bus services all nearby. There are also plenty of parking options available, making your commute convenient.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a fast-paced, professional salon where waxing is their specialty.
Approximate hours:
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
- Alternate Saturdays.
- Approximately 30 hours per week.
- Typical hours are 8:30am – 6:15pm, with some flexibility available.
About You
They’re looking for someone who:
- Is confident and experienced in all aspects of female waxing, including Brazilian waxing.
- Experience performing male Brazilian waxing would be highly regarded, however this is not essential.
- Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Has good customer service and communication skills.
- Is friendly, professional and able to help clients feel comfortable and relaxed.
- Has strong multitasking skills and enjoys variety in their day.
Reception Responsibilities
As part of your role, you’ll also assist with reception duties, including:
- Welcoming clients both in person and over the phone.
- Booking appointments and managing the salon schedule.
- Providing good customer service.
