Senior Beauty Therapist / Skin Therapist

SenSara beauty + skin has been proudly operating for 11 years in the heart of Coolum Beach. Known for our warm and loyal client base, personalised service, and a modern range of clinical and beauty treatments, we’re now seeking a Senior Beauty Therapist/Skin Therapist to join our growing team and assist the current owner and assistant manager on the day to day running of the business.
We’re looking for an experienced all-rounder with a passion for skin, strong foundational beauty therapy skills, Laser /IPL qualification/recent experience, organised, with the confidence to deliver a premium client experience and assist current owner/manager.
Pay Rate: $31-$48.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Fairwork Level 6 – Highest Rate of Pay: ABOVE AWARD RATE
- Casual Weekday: $40-$45 per hour.
- Casual Saturday: $48.50 per hour.
- Part-Time/Full-Time Weekday: $31-$33 per hour, depending on experience etc., will be discussed at the time of interview.
- Part-Time/Full-Time Saturday: $42 per hour.

- Every Sunday off + only alternate Saturdays (extra Saturdays only during peak holiday periods or staff leave). No Mondays as salon is closed.

About You
You’re an experienced beauty/skin therapist who loves what you do. You take pride in delivering exceptional client care and feel confident across core beauty services. You’re reliable, organised, professional, and excited to continue to learn, especially if you’re passionate about advanced skin treatments. You enjoy being in a more senior role alongside the assistant manager or owner/or independently when required. Self-driven and able to work independently.
Essential Requirements:
- Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
- Laser /IPL certificate.
- 1–2+ years recent salon/clinic experience.
- Strong skills and confidence in general beauty:
– Brows & lash tinting
– Waxing (including Brazilian)
– Advanced facials/Peels
– Lash Lifts & Brow Lamination
– Manicures & Pedicures (shellac)
– Tanning
- A genuine interest in skin and achieving results.
- Customer service focused.
- Competent computer skills.
Highly Regarded (further training provided if needed):
- Skin needling
- Hydra microdermabrasion
- Dermaplaning
- IPL/laser
- RF skin tightening
- Fat cavitation/body contouring
- Advanced results-driven facials
- Makeup artistry
- Supervisory experience /have run own business previously
- Socials in-put
