Urban Spirit Hair Design – Senior Hairdresser / Salon Manager
Urban Spirit Hair Design in Blackwood have an outstanding opportunity available for a confident Senior Hairdresser who’s wanting to take the next step in their career and become our new Salon Manager!
Pay Rate: $65,000 – $75,000 per annum (dependent on skills & experience) + Superannuation + Bonus schemes.
Hours:
- Full time permanent position, 38 hours per week. Tuesday – Saturday. We are flexible with later starts/earlier finishes to suit your lifestyle.
- No Sundays or Mondays & 3pm finish on Saturdays.
Location: 183f Main Road, Blackwood SA (free all-day parking space behind the salon & easily accessible by public transport).
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll be given outstanding support and mentorship from our salon owner, Wendy who has a wealth of knowledge from working as a CEO and Director, and Educator & Trainer in both Hair as well as the private sector for over 40 years. Wendy currently owns 3 high performing salons across South Australia and it’s her passion to pass her knowledge across to her team.
Wendy will help guide, support and mentor you to be the best Salon Manager you can be! You will not be micromanaged, and you will be provided with a high level of ongoing support and education in this management role.
JOB ROLE DUTIES
This role will be working approximately 80% on the floor, and 20% Management duties which include managing our amazing team of 6 Hairdressers, ensuring the smooth running of the salon, stock ordering, and collaborating with our owner on exciting projects to elevate our salon to the next level!
