HAIRDRESSER – Full Time

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Hairdresser, who is passionate about hair and beauty services and willing to join our team based in Double Bay for a Full time, permanent position.
Work directly with a diverse team to deliver top quality hair care and hair styles throughout the year and assist with day-to-day operation of our hair dressing business.
What You will be responsible for:
- Providing advice on hair care, beauty products and different hairstyles to clients.
- Cut, style, colour, straighten and permanently wave hair, and treat hair and scalp conditions of clients as per their request.
- Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps of clients as per client’s request.
- Performing colouring, straightening and permanently waving hair with chemical solutions as per the customer’s needs and requests.
- Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors and using appropriate hair products while cutting hair.
- Able to style hair into dreadlocks and braids as well as add hair extensions.
- Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches as per the client’s request.
- Making sure the work area is always clean and sanitising all instruments properly and ensuring work health and safety regulations are properly met.
- Able to arrange appointments and collect payments and provide exceptional customer service.
- Cutting, cleaning, colouring, and styling wigs and hairpieces.
What Skills and Experience we are looking for?
To hit the ground running you will need to demonstrate:
- Minimum 2+ Years of Experience as a Hairdresser.
- A Certificate III in Hairdressing is essential.
- Constructive behaviours that are a positive example to others.
- Ability to multitask and work as part of a wider team.
- Strong autonomy and the ability to innovate and self-motivate.
- Excellent customer focus and independent problem-solving skills.
- Strong Understanding and Focus on Work Health Safety and Hygiene Regulations.
- Attention to details and exceptional customer service skills.
