Hawthorne Skin & Beauty – Beauty Therapist
- $30 – $36 per hour (permanent rate of pay) plus bonuses and incentives.
- Permanent Part time, 20+ hours per week, leading to Full time / additional hours within 6 months if wanted.
- A varied work role, with a focus on training & education in skin-based treatments.

We specialise in a range of skin and beauty treatments that include: DMK Enzyme Therapy, peels, microdermabrasion, skin needling, LED and traditional facials, IPL hair removal and skin treatments, brow waxing, tinting and lash lifts, waxing, tanning, nails, and massage.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will be a mixture of basic beauty treatments (brow & body waxing, tinting, spray tanning) as well as advanced skin treatments including facials, peels, skin needling, Microdermabrasion, and IPL.
Skills and Experience required:
- Minimum of 1 year in salon experience, and confidence in a minimum of body waxing, brow waxing and tinting, spray tanning and basic facials is a must.
- A passion for beauty therapy and caring for clients.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy.
- Comfortable and confident in recommending retail and rebooking clients – we will train you to ensure you are confident in all of our products.
- Confidence in advanced skin treatments such as IPL and peels is an advantage however full training can be provided.
JOB ROLE SPECIFICS
Pay Rate: $30 – $36 per hour (permanent rate of pay) negotiated based on skills & experience + bonuses & incentives.
Hours: Permanent Part time, 20+ hours per week, leading to Full time / additional hours within 6 months if wanted. Initially, the days/hours will be as below. There may be flexibility in these hours for the right candidate however Saturdays + 2 late nights until 7.30pm are a must.
- Tuesdays: 9.30am – 7.30pm
- Wednesdays: 9.30am – 7.30pm
- Saturdays: 9am-2pm
Location: 250 Hawthorne Rd., Hawthorne QLD (free all-day onsite parking & easily accessible by public transport).
