- A major focus is placed on our Apprentices growth & education to ensure your skills are fast tracked. You’ll also be given the opportunity to learn tape hair extensions if wanted.
- All of our team can earn Bonuses & Commissions & we will work with you to achieve these, so you earn some extra money in your pocket each week.
- No prior experience in hairdressing is required – we are looking for candidates with a genuine interest in starting a career in this field.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a creative and enthusiastic individual with a passion for hairdressing? Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey to become a skilled hairstylist? If so, Conk invites you to join our team as a 1st or 2nd Year Hairdressing Apprentice.
As a 1st or 2nd Year Hairdressing Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, gain hands-on experience, and develop the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the world of hairdressing.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Hours: Full time (Part time may be considered for the right person – flexible employment arrangement).
Pay Rate: All of our Apprentices are paid Above Award wages + are able to earn Bonuses & commissions.
Location: 104 King William Rd, Goodwood SA (free parking + plenty of public transport).
Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior stylists with client consultations and services.
- Shampooing, conditioning, and preparing clients for treatments.
- Learning and practicing cutting, colouring, and styling techniques.
- Maintaining salon cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Attending training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills.
