We are too! Chameleon Skin & Beauty is on the hunt for a Beauty Therapist (Minimum Certificate III), and a Nail Technician. If you have expertise in both, that’s a bonus!
Location: Maryborough QLD (suburb and city in the Fraser Coast Region of Queensland).
- The position will initially be offered as Permanent Part-time or Casual, depending on the successful applicant. There is potential for the role to transition into full-time employment based on performance and business needs. Flexible employment arrangement.
- Hours approximately 15-30 hours per week.
- In alignment with the Hair & Beauty Award (MA000005), the position is classified as Level 3, with the following hourly rates:
– Permanent Part-Time/Full-Time: $27.17 per hour.
– Saturday Rate: $36.14 per hour.
– Casual Rate: $40.76 per hour.
– Casual Saturday Rate: $42.93.
- Please note, we do not operate on Public Holidays.
- Our business observes a two-week closure over Christmas and is also closed for the Easter period, ensuring work-life balance for our team.
- After completing a 3-month probation period, we will review and renegotiate the hourly wage in recognition of performance and contributions to the role.

- Dedicated to going above and beyond to deliver exceptional results Key Responsibilities: Perform a range of beauty and skin treatments (facials, waxing, tanning, manicures, pedicures, and nails if experienced).
- Provide personalised skin consultations and home care plans.
- Conduct advanced skin treatments (IPL, skin needling, LED therapy, etc.) – training available if needed.
- Able to work on your own as well as part of a team.
- Reception duties as required.

We’re Looking For:
- Certificate III in Beauty Therapy or equivalent.
- Nail Technology qualification if applying for Nail Tech role.
- Salon experience as a Beauty Therapist and/or Nail Technician.
- Experience with advanced facial treatments and cosmeceutical knowledge (advantageous), however not essential.
- If you have experience in lash extensions and threading, this is an advantage, however also not essential, as training will be provided.
- Strong track record in retail sales, with a professional, friendly, and reliable demeanour.
