Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced Senior Hairdresser or Advanced 3rd Year Apprentice Hairdresser to join our team here at Arcorace.
- $35+ per hour for highly qualified Senior or competitive, Above Award wage for newly Qualified or advanced 3rd Year Apprentice.
- Outstanding commission structure (and easily achievable).
- Complimentary staff hair every 6-8 weeks, with discounted products to purchase.
- Closed Sunday and Monday for an extra long weekend.

Arcorace is your go-to-hair destination for all of your transformative colour, extensions and bridal experience. Our salon is known for our beautiful bohemian interior and relaxed atmosphere for all staff and clientele. We aim to bring a fun, friendly yet professional environment in the salon, with our team working together to support each other in everyday duties.
Located on a suburban strip in Doubleview, just off Scarborough Beach Road, we have collaborated with an available in-house brow specialist and make-up artist giving our clientele a ‘go-to’ destination for special events and more.
Along with our super talented team of hairdressers, education and keeping up to date with the latest trends, techniques and looks with regular training and mentoring will mean you will have confidence and ongoing support in looking after our valued client with an exceptional experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Whether you’re a highly experienced and confident Senior Hairdresser, or are more newly qualified, the main attributes we’re looking for are a passion for the industry, for learning and growing, and a friendly nature who loves to work in a team.
- Maintaining a high level of professional and friendly customer service.
- Someone who has a passion for the industry.
- Has exceptional communication skills to stand out with their customer service attributes with the ability to grow a clientele base quickly and reach those weekly targets for commissions.
- Keeping up to date with the latest hair and fashion trends and latest techniques.
- Delivering a variety if lightening, colouring, hair cutting and hair styling services to our clients.
- Help guide and mentor our junior staff members with training.
- Contributing to the overall growth and success of the salon.
