Melanie Price Parlour Room is a high end salon nestled in a strip of boutique stores on the beautiful North Shore of Sydney.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Do you LOVE working with people? Do you feel like you want more?
  • No experience is necessary, a bonus if you have been working in the industry!

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Melanie with all salon clients.
  • Welcoming ritual – Client care, beverages, answering the phone, appointments, shampooing clients for their services & performing our deluxe treatments at the basin.
  • We will progress you quickly to toners, blowdrying and tinting with training specifically designed for you.
  • Once ready, you will have your own clients to work on!


  • Weekly in salon training with Mell, our salon owner- $1500 annual education budget for courses outside of the salon. We will design your tailored education plan with you!
  • We select to work with the leaders in healthy haircare, Australian brand O&M for colour and retail, alongside the luxury brand Christophe Robin from Paris, France.
  • We have parking onsite and public transport is easily accessible.
  • Lunch provided on Saturdays plus regular staff activities paid for. We love to invest in self care and wellbeing.
